Jannie Dresser, 2010 Creekwalker Poetry Prize Finalists' Judge, is a Bay Area poet with Central California roots. She is the editor and
publisher of the Bay Area Poets Seasonal Review, a quarterly publication covering local poets and poetry events, and is SF Poetry Examiner at
examiner.com. She has been a popular teacher of poetry for 20 years, has taught basic writing, reading and creative writing in community
colleges, adult education programs, senior centers, high schools, and in private workshops, in California and in Mexico. For most of her
career, she has been involved in book and periodical publishing, holding jobs as an editor, typographer, book packager, and publications
manager.
